On behalf of the Eagle Valley Snowmobile Club and the Sicamous Lions Club, I would like to thank the residents of Sicamous and surrounding areas for their support of Winterfest (formerly known as Snowarama), which took place on Feb. 13. The event raised $9,172.87 for the BC Lions Society for Children with Disabilities.
As with most fundraising events, the success of Winterfest depends on committed volunteers, generous sponsors and the support of local business owners.
The winners of this year’s Winterfest awards will be announced later at an awards dinner.
