Angels shoot for provincial title

The Sicamous Angels will be hosting the U18B Girls Provincial Softball Championship in Finlayson Park starting Friday July 8

The Sicamous Angels will be hosting the U18B Girls Provincial Softball Championship in Finlayson Park starting Friday July 8 and concluding with a provincial champion crowned at 4 p.m. on Sunday afternoon.

Sixteen teams from around B.C. will converge on Sicamous on Thursday afternoon, ready to start play at 8 a.m. on Friday morning.

Games will be played in Finlayson Park all three days starting at 8 a.m. each day.

The opening ceremony and skills competition will be held on Diamond #3, starting at 6 p.m. Friday night.

The community is invited to come out and watch some first-class fastball action, with the hometown Sicamous Angels playing at noon and 4 p.m. on Friday and Saturday on Diamond #3 in Finlayson Park.
