Update 2: Late 9 p.m. start for Grizzlies vs. Sicamous game 7

Cole Sanford scores four goals for Grizzlies to help tie series at three.

Update: Game 7 of the Revelstoke Grizzlies vs Sicamous Eagles game has been delayed by two hours due to ongoing highway closures. The start time is Sunday at 9 p.m. at the Revelstoke Forum.

Game seven of the series between the Revelstoke Grizzlies and Sicamous Eagles has been postponed until Sunday night after high avalanche danger closed the highway between the two towns on Saturday.

Cole Sanford scored four goals to lead the Revelstoke Grizzlies to a 5-2 win and a 3-3 tie in the best-of-seven series against the Sicamous Eagles Friday night.

Sanford, who missed the first four games of the series with an injury, scored once in the first and twice more in the second to spark the Grizzlies to a 4-1 lead. Tyler Reay opened the scoring for Revelstoke midway through the first and Mike Piderman scored the lone Sicamous goal in the first two periods.

Jagger Bowles scored for Sicamous in the third period to make the score 4-2 but Sanford put home an empty netter to clinch the victory for the Grizzlies.

Game seven takes place Sunday night at the Revelstoke Forum at 9 p.m.
